Are you desirous of a spiritual change? Cosmic spirituality is not about religion. Cosmic spirituality is not about fortune telling. Cosmic spirituality will not put you in touch with any of the gods or their rituals, traditions or rules. Cosmic spirituality is not about secular , religious or intellectual social networking. Cosmic spirituality is here to assist you in developing the richer and more advanced inner human qualities that are necessary for you to function as an independent adult spirit being who conducts all affairs according to reason and responsibility. Cosmic spirituality teaches you how to extend this mature adult Cosmic consciousness into community living in a spirit of oneness. Cosmic spirituality seeks to bring individuals together who have been awakened or who are at that stage where the spirit is demanding the awakened experience.
Do I love me?
How can I say I love me?
When the thoughts I hold hurts me so
I seldom feed my mind with goodness
Or allow my true self to grow
I walk the road of negligence
And act as if I do not care
I lie, I cheat and make believe
And plunge me in despair
How can I say I love me?
When facing the truth I do not do
I smoke, I drink, and give my body
All the things that aren’t food
I seldom take the time to reflect
Even though I have much to regret
I laugh, I smile , walk on a high
While my spirit keeps asking ‘Is this a lie?’
How can I say I love me?
When I have made no plan
To take myself from hopeless misery
Take on that mission for which I should stand

In My Moment Of Silence
In my moment of silence
I hear my heart beat
The sounds of the birds
The rustling in the wind
In my moment of silence
I face only me
My thoughts
My actions
The words I need to speak
In my moment of silence
When I sit to muse
I slowly change my vibration to whatever I chose
It is in my moment of silence that my spirit becomes
All that manifests themselves in what I do or need to get done

What about me?
The job is calling
I must go and see
If someone is late they might need me
Did my child just scream?
Is he reaching for me?
A diaper to change?
A bottle of feed?
The Laundry is piling
This isn’t right
My daughter’s graduation is tonight
I forgot my groceries are at the end
I have no money left to spend
My clothes are out of fashion
What do I do now?
They can’t be worn to the function
And my daughter is late for the prom
It is then that I stopped …
I began to see
My busy life did not include the real me
No Grace
No virtues
No goodness to achieve
No knowledge
No wisdom to make me complete
I raised my hand and I cried, ‘Stop Now!’
I am here for more than all that
I am here to become

Evolution
Having areas in which to make personal improvement makes life exciting.
Those inner qualities I need to cultivate,
The physical posture I try to maintain,
My health, I falter, but regain
The thought process I sought although through pain
The relationships I seek to build cause my emotion to strain
And embracing loss sometimes leaves me drained.
Outside of the opportunities posed by the need for improvement
Life loses its luster
I am bored
I have an excuse to be complacent

My Little Gem For Success
If I approach a difficult task as if it were easy, the likelihood of failure is rather very high. This is because I would not have sent the correct signal to my emotional (or lower) mind so it can make the necessary preparation that would guarantee my success.
But if I, by reason and responsibility, embrace the fact that the challenge I face is a difficult one. The correct signal would be sent to my emotional mind. My emotional mind would be better able to make the necessary preparation needed for my success.
My emotional mind provides me with the willpower, desire and motivation to succeed. Willpower and motivation must be directly proportional to, or exceed that needed for the task at hand. I cannot move a mountain with the willpower and motivation to move a mound.

My Health Pledge
I seek to make me healthier
By being aware of all the organs of my body
By knowing how each organs functions
By understanding the steps I must take to optimize their function
By refraining from engagement in any activity that will impede their function
I seek to make me healthier
By being aware of what I eat
By doing the necessary research about what I eat
By reading the labels attached to what I eat
By refraining from eating what tastes good but is not good
I seek to make me healthier
By engaging in daily exercise
By standing more and sitting less
By walking more and driving less
By not just going to the gym to be a part of the ‘in thing’ but seeking out the exercises that are necessary for my specific body
I seek to make me healthier
By taking the necessary steps that will ensure my spiritual evolution
By not just following, I will ask ‘Why?’
By recognizing my inadequacies and embracing change
By seeking, searching, researching, evaluating, considering and reflecting
I seek to make me healthier by embracing positive relationships
By enriching and empowering others
By saying sorry when I should
By fostering a forgiving spirit
By offering a smile when it is needed and being a strong support in times of grief.

Don’t Assume
Don’t Assume
Don’t Assume
Don’t Assume
Let’s be fair
Check the facts
Get it clear
Make the move
Before you roof
Or you lose
An angry outburst
May make things worse
So do your search
Be diligent in time
It is worth the while
And you will smile
When it becomes clear
That the friend you hold dear
Never cast you a snare

Self-Control
I am governed by my intentions
Not my moods
I control my attitudes by the thoughts I brood
I never said my behavior was because of you
Oh shoot!
Virtue and blessings are not innate
I must play by the rule
I laugh and cry
And I wonder why
Two plus two equals four
And five plus four gives me nine.
Why can’t my behavior yield the result I think
And six plus six stretches beyond twelve
To fill the hole I created in the sink
Ha ha
I must play by the rule
True laws are built on equations!
I will not be fooled.

Introspection
If I rely only on what I taste and feel
On what I hear smell or see
If I rely only on what looks right or wrong
On what my socialization says
Or the gathering throng
If I never pause, reflect and ask myself ‘why?’
Seek, search, contend and analyze
How will I grow?
Surpassing my inadequacies
Reach into the deepest depths
And extend into the heights of limited stretches.
If I do not stop to introspect
I would confer on myself narrow mindedness.

I Am More Than A Bag of Feelings
I will not allow myself to be governed by the lower mind.
Life is not just about what looks good to me
Neither is it just about the beauty I see.
Life is more than my sensational touch
Sweet smell
Or that which enters my ear in a rush
Yes
I am a feeling being
And that’s neat
But feelings … most times … is void of the truth I seek
I will allow my higher mind to tell me how
Its rational thought to guide my ‘now’.

‘I AM Sorry’
I say ‘I am sorry’
I say ‘I am sorry’ to free my spirit
I say ‘I am sorry’ to maintain the health of my body
When I refuse to say ‘I am sorry’ I imprison myself
A spirit that is imprisoned cannot soar
Cannot evolve
Can be heard screaming for that liberation
A body that is imprisoned
Is unable to adequately eliminates its waste
Suffers toxic build up
Erodes and degenerates

Free Yourself
I pop in and out of what is commonly and loosely called existence
As I do so,
May determination floats on every breath I take
The determination to love and to give
For it is as I love and give
That I myself am loved and given
The determination to forgive
For it is as I forgive
That I myself am forgiven and my spirit is made free
The determination to care and to share
For as I care and share in the spirit of community
My spirit expands
Traversing heights and depths
And as I do so
I become like gods
Knowing
Perceiving
Sensing
Reasoning
The heights and depths
The here and now
The beginning and the end

How did I Speak to you
How did I speak to you?
Was I mean?
Did I make you feel dignity or make you retreat?
How did I speak to you?
Was I loud?
Did I make you feel embarrassed when you stood in that crowd?
Did my words injure instead of heal?
Did they knock you down,
Causing you to kneel?
How did I speak to you?
Did I make you scrape the floor?
As I relish in selfish glory and my ego soar?
Did I make you search for worth while I bask in your hurt?
Or make you feel like you were nothing but dirt?
How did I speak to you?
Did I smile a smile of ‘I got you there!’
While you looked at me helplessly in despair?
How did I speak to you?
Was I mean?
Did I imprison you
Or make you feel free?

Become Like Divine Mind
If you do not evolve into the higher mind, you cannot appreciate the expanse of Divine Mind; for like is known by like.
Extend your spirit beyond the boundary of your finite body, and make yourself evolve to the likeness of that which is – that greatness which is beyond all measure. Rise above all time and embrace your own eternity. Then you will appreciate Divine Mind.
Believe that for you too nothing is impossible. Think that you too, you are immortal. Grasp all things in your thought, so that you become every craft and science. Find your home in the haunts of every living creature. Make yourself higher than all heights and lower than all depths. Bring together in you the seemingly opposing poles of your emotional components – love and hate, courage and fear, heat and cold, dryness and fluidity. Then you will appreciate Divine Mind.
Think that you are everywhere at once, on land and sea. Extend yourself into the heavens. Think that you are not yet begotten, that you are in the womb, that you are young, that you are old, that you have died, and that you are in the world beyond the grave. Grasp in your thought all of this at once, all times and places, all depth and height, all substances and emotions and all magnitudes together. Then you can appreciate Divine Mind.
But if you confine the true self within the body, and abase yourself, and say “I am nothing, I know nothing, I can do nothing; I am afraid of earth and sea, I cannot mount the heavens; I do not know who I am, I do not know where I am from, I do not know what I shall be, neither do I know where I am going;” then how can you become like Divine Mind.

Let It Flow
Close your eyes.
Let your mind expand.
Allow no fear of death or darkness to interrupt its journey.
Let your mind merge with Mind.
Let it flow
Let it flow out upon the great circle of consciousness.
Let it soar on the wings of the great bird of duration,
Let it flow and grasp the Cycle of Eternity.
Let it flow
Let it flow
Let it Flow

When I Get Angry
I have come to realize that no one makes me angry
I get angry because I am me
I get angry because I am unique
Whenever I get angry I ask myself ‘why?’
The revelations are astonishing when they come to my eyes.
I found my anger was not tied to what was done
My anger stemmed from the fact that I did not have the time and wanted to run
I found that my anger was not linked to what was said
I am reminded of my past or a book I have read
My anger is not linked to his smile
It was my perception of it as guile
My anger is not tied to what I just heard
It was my interpretation of the word
My anger is not tied to the look on her face
It is my personality, it is my taste
My anger is not tied to the size of the crowd
It’s just that I would rather not deal with it now
The revelation has caused me to think
I need not blame anyone or anything when I am on the brink
What I should be doing instead
Let the energy flow, but not in a way that neighbors dread.
